2
A big thank you to YOU
3
Before I tell the story of
my 2009 trip….
4
Why Nigeria?
5
Why us?
6
How big is the problem?
7
Many children live near a school and yet are unable to attend
8

These precious children are going to grow up like their parents…
9
Working hard just to make ends meet because lack of education keeps them from fulfilling  their  God-given potential
10
Sometimes there is hope
11
God had a plan
12
Within three months after meeting we established our first school
13
It became clear that a school was not enough
14

We began to see the school as a change agent for the whole village
15
Some initiatives we have begun
16
And now the highlights
of my trip….

The high point of my trip….
  • Three years ago this boy could not read or write, could not speak English (required for all Nigerian education) and had never been to school. This day he confidently stood up in front of elders, visitors and students reading clearly and fluently—in English.

We have come a long way
 in a few years...
32
There are still some very big needs
33
School in waiting….
Our next school will be at Iranodu, a Muslim village. To start they will need a modest school building and chickens for their work project.

Would you consider?

Thank you
